About Janet: Janet Stellpflug is a shareholder in the firm Aafedt, Forde, Gray, Monson, & Hager, P.A. Ms. Stellpflug was raised in North Dakota, and received her Bachelors degree from Mills College in Oakland, California in 1983. She received her J.D. from Hamline University School of Law in 1986. After graduation from law school, Janet Stellpflug worked as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Robert H. Schumacher in Hennepin County District Court and at the Minnesota Court of Appeals.

In 1986, Ms. Stellpflug was admitted to practice in the State of Minnesota, and is currently admitted to state and federal courts as well as the United States Supreme Court. In 1994, Ms. Stellpflug was admitted to practice in the State of Wisconsin. She has over 20 years of experience defending civil litigation in all areas. Ms. Stellpflug was recently inducted into the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) and is also Board Certified as Civil Trial Specialist by the Minnesota State Bar Association. She volunteers as a guardian ad litem in Hennepin County. Ms. Stellpflug has also been selected to a small group of attorneys who have been recognized by their peers for their legal ability and professional reputation, by receiving an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell. Ms. Stellpflug is retained by major corporations and insurers for defense of civil actions, including products liability and construction litigation.

Ms. Stellpflug is a frequent lecturer and author on topics related to the defense of civil cases.  

Ms. Stellpflug is a Master in the Amdahl Inn of Court. She is also a member of the Minnesota Defense Lawyers Association and the Academy of Certified Trial Lawyers of MN, and serves on the ACTLM Judicial Election Committee. Ms. Stellpflug is also a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA).
