On May 16, 2013, Governor Mark Dayton signed into law a new workers' compensation bill, S.F. 1234. These new provisions will take effect for injuries occurring after October 1, 2013. Click here to view a summary of the significant changes to the Minnesota Workers' Compensation Act (WCA). Click here

The seminar will address important changes in Minnesota workers' compensation law, including both case law and legislative developments. Other topics will include valuable medical information and the use of social media in discovery. There will be general sessions and break-outs of interest for employers and claims representatives, including civil litigation claims handlers. The guest speaker was Dr. Anthony Bottini, a neurosurgeon, who addressed fusions and disc replacement surgeries.
