Sheena Denny

Sheena Denny is an associate at Aafedt, Forde, Gray, Monson & Hager. With passion and a keen eye for detail, Sheena brings a unique blend of experience, education, and personal flair to her practice.

Her journey into the legal realm began with a solid foundation in political science, earning her Bachelor of Arts from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia, in 2009. It was during these formative years that Sheena developed her innate ability to analyze complex issues and communicate effectively—a skill set that would prove invaluable in her legal career.

After completing her undergraduate studies, Sheena went into federal public service, working in the Secretary of Defense office and Joint Chiefs of Staff at the Pentagon. After nearly five years of federal service, Sheena and her husband moved to Minnesota where she pursued her J.D. at Mitchell Hamline School of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota, graduating in 2022. During her time in law school, Sheena honed her legal skills through hands-on experience, working as a legal secretary and serving as a legal secretary and judicial extern at the Minnesota Office of Administrative Hearings. This invaluable opportunity provided her with firsthand exposure to the intricacies of administrative law and solidified her commitment to pursuing a career in this field.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Sheena is a multifaceted individual with a diverse range of interests. A lover of DIY home projects, she finds joy in painting, remodeling, and designing spaces. Her green thumb extends to gardening, which includes a lemon tree. When she is not changing yet another thing around the house, she is running after her two small children.

Described by those who know her as a great communicator, genuine, friendly, empathetic, and an open book, Sheena embodies the qualities of a well-rounded attorney who is not only adept in her field but also approachable and relatable—a true advocate for her clients and a valuable asset to the legal community.
