Andrew Hippert is an associate with Aafedt, Forde, Gray, Monson & Hager, P.A. He received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Minnesota Law School in 2004. He received his Bachelor’s degree with Honors, with High Distinction, Phi Kappa Phi, in History from the University of Minnesota – Morris in 2001.
Andrew was admitted to practice law in the State of Minnesota in 2004 and was admitted to practice law in the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota in 2005. While in law school, he served on the school’s National Moot Court and worked closely with small businesses in a clinical program. Following law school, Andrew entered private practice where he eventually focused on various types of disability/injury matters including workers’ compensation, ERISA litigation, and Social Security Disability claims.
Andrew’s practice has involved successfully litigating matters before the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota; various Minnesota District Courts; the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Minnesota; and various administrative courts including the Minnesota Office of Administrative Hearings as well as the numerous Offices of Hearings and Appeals for the United States Social Security Administration.
In his free time, Andrew enjoys traveling; staying physically active and spending time outdoors engaged in activities such as running and swimming; watching television and movies; and reading, with a particular interest in The Great War.
