Jamey Connor is a shareholder with the firm Aafedt, Forde, Gray, Monson & Hager, P.A. He received his J.D. from The University of St. Thomas School of Law in 2007. Jamey received a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in Entrepreneurship, from the University of St. Thomas in 2003. Jamey is admitted to practice law in Minnesota and Wisconsin.
Jamey began his career as an associate attorney for a small Minneapolis workers’ compensation law firm representing claimants. After spending nearly three years representing hundreds of claimants, Jamey switched sides and went to work for Liberty Mutual Insurance Company as in-house counsel, again focusing exclusively on workers’ compensation disputes, this time on behalf of employers and insurers.
After nearly two and a half years at Liberty, Jamey became an associate at Aafedt, Forde, Gray, Monson & Hager, P.A. in October of 2013. His practice is focused exclusively on defense of employers and insurers in workers’ compensation litigation and negotiation. Having represented hundreds of claimants and hundreds of employer/insurers in workers’ compensation matters, Jamey brings to his practice a wealth of experience and perspective from all aspects of the workers’ compensation system that few colleagues can match. Jamey has successfully litigated and/or negotiated hundreds of workers’ compensation claims involving all manner of disputes from both the claimant and defendant positions, but his greatest satisfaction comes from building and maintaining effective working relationships with his clients in the business and insurance communities.
