Celebrating 100 years of service to our clients

Aafedt, Forde, Gray, Monson & Hager, P.A. celebrates its 100th anniversary in 2020. With this exciting news comes a new look! The firm has a new logo and website and is pleased to unveil the new logo below. The logo started to appear on correspondence and emails in January 2020.

The firm was founded in 1920 by Maugridge Robb. In 1920, Woodrow Wilson was President, the 19th Amendment was ratified (granting women the right to vote), a gallon of gasoline was 30 cents and one pound of coffee cost 47 cents. The Great War was over and the Great Depression had not yet started. In 1930, the firm added two partners and became known as Robb, Rich and Reynolds. Focusing on insurance defense, primarily civil lawsuits, the firm added two more partners in 1940, and the defense of workers’ compensation claims became a specialty. Since 1960, the firm has periodically changed its name to reflect the names of the contemporary senior partners. For years, and even to this day, many refer to the firm as "Gilmore." The primary work of the firm has remained the same since it was founded in 1920. Our practice focuses on insurance defense, defending both civil lawsuits and workers' compensation claims. Together with our knowledge and dedication, Aafedt, Forde, Gray, Monson & Hager, P.A. continually seeks to provide the highest quality of legal services. It remains one of the leading insurance defense firms in the Upper Midwest, with attorneys licensed to practice in Minnesota and Wisconsin.
