Melissa M. (Juedes) LaRocca

Melissa M. LaRocca is a shareholder with the firm Aafedt, Forde, Gray, Monson & Hager, P.A. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire, magna cum laude, majoring in Political Science. She was a BluGold Scholar, member of the Honors Program, Dean's List and President of the Political Science Honor Society.

Melissa received her J.D. from the William Mitchell College of Law in 2009. While attending law school, Melissa participated in the Minnesota Justice Foundation, the Minnesota State Bar Association, and mentored 1L students. Melissa also worked as a law clerk throughout law school in a workers' compensation firm.

Melissa was admitted to practice law before the Supreme Court in the State of Minnesota and all lesser courts of the State in 2010. She worked for a law firm in Red Wing, Minnesota, after law school doing business/corporate law, real estate law and estate planning. She later worked at a plaintiff's workers' compensation firm in downtown Minneapolis for over three years. She is licensed to practice law in U.S. District Court in the District of Minnesota. She is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association, the Hennepin County Bar Association and the Ramsey County Bar Association. While Melissa specializes in representing employers and insurers in workers' compensation claims, she has experience in a variety of areas including Social Security disability, personal injury, wrongful termination/employer retaliation, and long-term disability claims.

Melissa routinely assists clients facing business and legal challenges and helps troubleshoot issues and find solutions. Having experience as a plaintiff's attorney, as well as a defense attorney, she is able to provide her clients with favorable resolutions through a multi-faceted approach to claims.
