Jennifer Roark

Jennifer Roark comes to the firm with over ten years of legal experience. She received her Juris Doctor degree from the Hamline University School of Law in 2005. in 1998, she received her Bachelor’s Degree from Concordia College with majors in both Communications and English Literature.

Ms. Roark was admitted to practice law in the state of Minnesota in 2005. Prior to graduating from law school, Ms. Roark worked as a legal intern for two years for the American Academy of Neurology (AAN) in the areas of contract law, employment law, nonprofit law, and other various legal challenges faced by a non-profit organization. After graduation, she went on to serve as Associate General Counsel for AAN.

Jennifer also had the opportunity to work as a law clerk for two district court judges in Douglas County. This provided knowledge in all matters of civil and criminal litigation. She also has experience working as a workers’ compensation plaintiff’s attorney. Before joining Aafedt, Ms. Roark practiced at Menk & Menk.

In her off time, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her husband and three children. She is a devoted parent and keeps herself busy with attending her children’s sports games as well as supporting her children’s school by volunteering for the PTA.
