Tyler Young is an associate attorney with the firm Aafedt, Forde, Gray, Monson & Hager, P.A. He focuses his practice on workers’ compensation defense, civil litigation, and subrogation. He represents Employers and Insurers in all aspects of litigation including formal file management, strategy recommendations, settlements, hearings, and appeals. Tyler enjoys developing meaningful relationships with Employers and Insurers and providing exceptional legal representation and trial advocacy on his clients’ behalf. Tyler also has experience representing injured employees in Minnesota and understands the challenges of various disputes from a unique perspective.

Tyler received his Juris Doctor from Mitchell Hamline School of Law, and his bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse. Tyler is admitted to practice law in the state of Minnesota and is an active member of the Minnesota Defense Lawyers Association, Defense Research Institute (DRI), Minnesota State Bar Association, and Hennepin County Bar Association. Outside of his legal practice, Tyler enjoys spending time with his friends and family and attending sporting events. Originally from Wisconsin, he is an avid fan of the Packers, Brewers, and Bucks.
