Welcome Law Clerks, Miranda & Sarah!

We are excited to share some team updates at Aafedt Forde. As part of our ongoing commitment to growth and mentorship within the firm, we are pleased to welcome and promote two outstanding individuals joining our law clerk team.

Miranda M. Burris

With more than four years of experience as a paralegal, Miranda is excited to transition into her new role as a law clerk at Aafedt, Forde, Gray, Monson & Hager, P.A. Originally from Willow River, Minnesota, she moved to the Twin Cities to attend Hamline University, where she earned a degree in Accounting.

Over the past three years with the firm as a paralegal, Miranda has gained valuable experience in insurance defense matters. She also previously worked at a firm representing injured employees, giving her a well-rounded perspective on workers’ compensation disputes. After recently completing her first year at Mitchell Hamline School of Law, Miranda is excited to continue expanding her legal knowledge and experience in her new role.

Sarah Swanson

Sarah Swanson recently completed her first year at Mitchell Hamline School of Law after earning her undergraduate degree from University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire. Prior to joining Aafedt, Forde, Gray, Monson & Hager, P.A. as a law clerk, Sarah gained experience as a legal assistant and corporate finance intern. She is excited to join the Aafedt Forde team and looks forward to expanding her knowledge of workers’ compensation law while gaining hands-on experience in the practical application of the law.
